Workshops, gatherings, classes, sharing circles, crafternoons, skillshares, poetry nights, mad hatter tea parties. You name it, we’re probably keen to provide the space for it!
Our venue does many, many things, in the realms of: Learning, Art, Wellness and Socialising.
Our values are: Play, Respect, Cooperation, Service and Innovation.
The dream is to build up our weeknights with an awesome variety of welcoming, inclusive and intriguing events. Different things happening in six of our rooms, and folks gathering at the rooftop bar afterwards to meet, mingle and share about their different experiences.
We’re excited to have both seasoned teachers and nervous newbies hold spaces here. No experience required, if you are newer then we’re happy to support you as you need.
Your event could be a structured lesson in a craft or skill. It could be an ‘open mic’ style, encouraging informal sharing of music, poetry, writing, etc. It could be a structured conversation. It could be unfacilitated ‘parallel play,’ folks separately doing the same thing in shared space.
We love the weird and wonderful. Niche topics or innovative event formats are embraced here.
Tuesday nights are our community night. We don’t charge hire, and we ask that all events on Tuesday nights are made free of charge for attendees.
On Wednesday and Thursday nights, facilitators can nominate a ticket price for attendees, and then pay a room hire fee of $80 for one hour, $140 for two, or $180 for three. You keep all of your ticket revenue.
After you submit this form, we will be in touch within about a week. At that time we can suggest a length for your event, advise which Trainscendence room it would fit best in, and answer any questions you may have.
